COMMUNITY SAFETY DAY

Join us on October 2 for Raymond Fire & Rescue’s Annual Community Safety Day & Open House!

From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, bring the whole family out for a fun-filled day at the firehouse. Enjoy games, raffles, a silent auction, a bake sale, and delicious food prepared by our very own Raymond Fire & Rescue members.

Explore the station, get an up-close look at emergency vehicles and equipment, meet members of Raymond Fire & Rescue, and enjoy activities for kids, including our bounce house.

Local community organizations and safety partners will also be joining us to share valuable resources, demonstrations, and information with families throughout the day. One of the highlights of the event will be a Flight For Life landing, giving attendees the opportunity to see this incredible life-saving service up close.

This event is all about bringing our community together while promoting safety, education, and the work of our local first responders.

SAFE WISCONSIN DROP OFF LOCATION

Raymond Fire & Rescue is excited to announce that we are now an official drop-off location for SAFE Wisconsin – Stuffed Animals for Emergencies!

SAFE Wisconsin collects new and gently used stuffed animals, which are cleaned, sanitized and distributed to organizations including fire departments, EMS, law enforcement, hospitals, shelters and other community partners. These stuffed animals can provide comfort and a much-needed distraction to children experiencing frightening or traumatic situations.

And we’re kicking things off at Safety Day!

We’ll have our SAFE Wisconsin donation box out during the event, and we encourage our families to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to donate.

​

It may seem like a small gift, but for a child going through a difficult moment, a cuddly friend can provide a little extra comfort when they need it most.

​

Can’t make it to Safety Day? No problem! Our donation box will remain available at the station as an ongoing SAFE Wisconsin drop-off location.
